About Me

My name is Daria Fedotova, I’m 24 years old, and this blog is my quiet corner of the internet where cooking feels warm, human, and uncomplicated.

About Me

I’m not a chef, not a nutritionist, and not someone who believes food needs fancy labels to matter. I’m simply a person who loves cooking, collecting flavors, and turning ordinary ingredients into meals that make people feel good. For me, food has always been more than recipes. It’s mood, memory, comfort, curiosity, and sometimes therapy after a long day.

I’ve been cooking for as long as I can remember. Some of my earliest memories are connected to the kitchen, watching simple dishes come together, learning how smells change when something is almost ready, and noticing how the same meal can feel completely different depending on who you share it with. Even as a child, I felt that what we eat affects how we feel, how we rest, and how we connect with each other. That belief quietly stayed with me as I grew up.

Over the years, cooking became my favorite way to slow down. I started experimenting with recipes I found online, adjusting them, simplifying them, sometimes failing and sometimes surprising myself. I’m the kind of person who saves recipes, rewrites them in my own words, and adds notes in the margins like “try this with lemon next time” or “too salty, reduce by half.” Eventually, those notes turned into pages, and those pages turned into a notebook that could no longer keep up with me.

About Me

This blog was born during that exact moment, when my notebook ran out of space and my curiosity didn’t. I wanted a place where I could organize the recipes I love, the dishes I want to try, and the meals I already cook for the people close to me. Recipes-4-you.com became my digital kitchen notebook, but also something more personal. It’s a reflection of how I cook and why I cook.

Here, you won’t find perfection or rigid rules. I share what I enjoy, what I’m currently excited about, and what has actually worked in my kitchen. Some recipes come from family habits, some from late-night inspiration, some from trends I wanted to test, and some from moments when I just wanted something comforting and familiar. If I loved it, it belongs here. If I want to try it again with a small twist, it belongs here too.

I believe home cooking should feel cozy, not stressful. You don’t need rare ingredients, professional tools, or hours of free time to make something delicious. Most of my recipes are created with real life in mind. Busy days, small kitchens, imperfect skills, and a desire to enjoy food without pressure. Cooking should support your life, not complicate it.

This blog is also for anyone who cooks emotionally, intuitively, or imperfectly. If you read recipes like guidelines rather than strict instructions, we’ll get along just fine. I often adjust quantities based on taste, swap ingredients depending on what I have, and trust my senses more than exact measurements. That’s how I cook at home, and that’s how I share recipes here.

About Me

One small warning though. Be careful. The recipes on this blog are genuinely delicious. I created them to be shared, repeated, and remembered. Some might become your regular comfort meals. Some might surprise you. And some might disappear very quickly from the table.

Recipes-4-you.com is not about showing off. It’s about sharing. Sharing what I love, what I’m learning, and what brings joy to my everyday cooking. If something here inspires you to step into the kitchen with less stress and more curiosity, then this blog is doing exactly what I hoped it would do.

Welcome to my kitchen.
